On March 28, MP Celina Caesar-Chavannes, CivicAction, and guests are putting the future of work in our region on the table at CivicDish. Join us for lunch and a panel discussion before exploring ways to equip workers with the knowledge and skills they need to succeed in this rapidly changing work environment through facilitated conversations.

Panelists include:

  • Jason Atkins, CEO and Founder of 360insights
  • Shenelle Payne Cuffy, Employment Advisor, Career Centre - University of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT)
  • Karey Ann Large, Executive Director, Downtown Whitby BIA
  • Tonya DeJong, Employer Advisor, John Howard Society
  • Isaac Wanzama, Founder and Sr. Strategist, GeekSpeak
  • Moderator: Celina Caesar-Chavannes, Member of Parliament for Whitby

Come share your ideas on what needs to happen to ensure residents participate in the future of work. The discussion will feed into a region-wide conversation and game plan that CivicAction, and partners will carry forward over the next four years.

Space is limited. RSVP by March 25 to help us take a bite out of one of our region’s most challenging issues!

Time: March 28, 2019, 1pm - 3pm
